| STRUCTURE | Chlorophytum Borivilianum or
safed musli is a small perennial herb with radical leaves which grow
above ground. Roots are tubers and fleshy. They have light brown outer skin which covers white fleshy roots. Leaves are usually 15 to 25 cm long and 1 to 2 cm in width. They are radical and have parallel venation. Flowers are small and white in colour. They occur in clusters of 3 flowers. Fruit is yellow to green in colour and tricapsulated.
